Gionee K6 smartphone has been unveiled in China silently, with the company making a comeback after a hiatus. The handset sports a basic design with a waterdrop notch on the screen to house the selfie camera, surrounded by slim bezels. The phone bears a triple camera setup at the back along with a fingerprint sensor for security. The Gionee K6 boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which is weird considering the OS dates back to 2017. Other key specifications include a 4,350mAh battery with 10W charging support, up to 256GB internal storage, and a 13MP selfie camera.

Gionee K6 is priced at RMB 799 (around Rs 8,500) for the 6GB + 128GB model, RMB 899 (approx Rs 9,500) for the 8GB + 128GB version and RMB 1,099 (around Rs 11,700) for 8GB + 256GB variant. The handset will be available in Black and Blue colours and is already on sale in China.

Gionee K6 flaunts a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 1,520 X 720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone comes in three models: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth.
In terms of cameras, the Gionee K6 has a triple-camera setup at the back comprising a 16MP primary sensor with LED flash. However, details regarding the other two sensors haven’t been disclosed. There is a 13MP snapper on the front for selfies, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. A 4,350mAh battery with 10W charging support fuels the phone.
